VANCOUVER – The nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Clark County has conducted video interviews with candidates for the 3rd Congressional District.
Three of the four candidates accepted the League’s invitation to participate in short interviews ahead of the Aug. 6 primary election: Republican Leslie Lewallen, Democratic incumbent Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez and independent John Saulie-Rohman.
You can view the interviews on CVTV’s website and on the League’s website. Candidate Joe Kent’s campaign did not respond to the League’s written and oral invitations to participate in the interviews.
The two candidates with the most votes in the primary will advance to the November general election. The League of Women voters is a nationwide nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering voters and defending democracy.
