KNOW YOUR RIGHTS!

Everyone in the United States, regardless of immigrant status, has certain rights under the U.S. Constitution.

Vulnerable populations should have copies of the information on the red card (tarjeta roja) on hand at all times.

Other resources can be located from these organizations; ACLU of Washington, Immigrant Legal Resource Center, Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network, the national League of Women Voters, or Clinic Legal Flyers.

The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution protects freedom of speech.

This means that you have the right to express your opinions and speak out via demonstrations as well as other means. Explore the guide to the right to learn more about your rights to demonstrate.
